朱繼善（筆名朱兵)，號黃山之子，1942年出生于中國黃山市歙州，大專畢業(yè)。自幼喜愛書畫，1959年開始從事藝術學習與創(chuàng)作至今,先后又在浙江美術學院等藝術院校和畫院進修學習多年。60年代初曾拜藝術大師潘天壽先生為師，多次得到大師的指點與教誨，多次在國內(nèi)舉辦個人畫展,多幅作品被國家有關部委、博物館、美術館、紀念館及加拿大、意大利、日本等國內(nèi)外高價收藏。
作品獲過省級及國家級金獎與一等獎,并獲聯(lián)合國和平藝術獎、聯(lián)合國終身藝術成就獎、首屆國際金鷹獎、聯(lián)合國重點推薦藝術名家、聯(lián)合國和平藝術大使，并有作品在日本東京及美國紐約展出并獲金獎及終身成就獎。代表作有《水庫晨曲》、《黃山云?！?、碳素鋼筆畫《百村千幢圖》百米長卷（110米)、中國畫《夢游千里古徽州》百米長卷（268米)、《中國第一奇山——黃山》百米長卷（168米)。
現(xiàn)為中國文聯(lián)名譽副主席、顧問、中國藝術家協(xié)會副主席、中國國畫院副院長、中國美術家協(xié)會理事、中國書法家協(xié)會會員、香港世界著名藝術家聯(lián)合會國際委員、北京齊白石藝術研究會會員、新安畫派研究會副會長、高等教育研究生院美術客座教授、瑞典皇家藝術學院榮譽博士（獲瑞典皇家北極星勛章）、原歙州博物館館長、美術師（現(xiàn)為國家一級美術師、教授)。中宣部、文化部、人民日報社、八部門共同授予“新時代文化藝術大師”稱號。
Zhu Jishan (pen name Zhu Bing), son of Huangshan, was born in Shezhou, Huangshan City, China in 1942, and graduated from college. He has loved calligraphy and painting since childhood, and has been engaged in art study and creation since 1959. He has studied in art schools and painting academies such as Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts for many years. In the early 1960s, he took the master of art Mr. Pan Tianshou as his teacher, and received the guidance and teaching of the master many times. He held many personal exhibitions in China. and other high-priced collections at home and abroad.
His works have won provincial and national gold awards and first prizes, and won the United Nations Peace Art Award, the United Nations Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award, the first International Golden Eagle Award, the United Nations Key Recommended Artists, the United Nations Peace Art Ambassador, and some works in Tokyo and Japan. Exhibited in New York, USA and won the Gold Award and Lifetime Achievement Award. Representative works include "Morning Song of Reservoir", "Huangshan Cloud Sea", carbon pen painting "Hundred Villages and Thousands of Buildings" 100-meter-long scroll (110 meters), Chinese painting "Sleepwalking in a Thousand Miles of Ancient Huizhou" 100-meter-long scroll (268 meters), "China's No. 1" Qishan - Huangshan" 100-meter-long scroll (168 meters).
