　　近日，國際學術競賽的賽場又傳來捷報。繼上月12名天行學子在2020英國物理挑戰(zhàn)賽（GCSE年級）斬獲2金2銀8銅的優(yōu)異成績后，天行學子在加拿大化學競賽中再創(chuàng)佳績。這也是我校在該項競賽中首次獲獎。我校學生在激烈的全球競賽中脫穎而出，共有5名學生獲得獎項。其中高一（7）朱云軒Sean同學獲得全國銀獎；高一（7）李仁杰Leo、高二（1）班張鶴同Neo同學獲得全國銅獎；高一（7）班王為知Miracle、高二（3）班王啟銘Kiki同學獲得賽區(qū)優(yōu)秀獎。

　　Recently, we have good news came from the international academic competition. With 12 Teensen students got two gold, two silver and eight bronze medals in the 2020 British Physics Challenge （GCSE GRADE）last month, Teensen achieved further success in the Canadian chemistry competition. This is also our school’s first award in this competition. Teensen students stood out in the fierce global competition, and a total of five students winning awards. Among them, Yunxuan Zhu (Sean) from Class7 Senior 1, won the National Silver Award; Renjie Li (Leo) from Class7 Senior 1 and Hetong Zhang (Neo) from Class 1 Senior 2, they both won the National Bronze Award; Weizhi Wang (Miracle) from Class Senior 1 and Qiming Wang (KiKi) from Class 3 Senior 2, they both won the Excellence Award in this competition.

　　天行一中自成立以來就關注學生的長遠發(fā)展，注重學生在學術水平上的提升，以便更好適應未來大學生活。老師鼓勵并耐心指導學生參加各類含金量高的國際競賽。一直以來，天行競賽氛圍濃厚，亮眼成績頻出，離不開專業(yè)老師的指導。天行培養(yǎng)出了一批具有豐厚競賽經驗的指導老師，老師們在平日的教學過程中就注重啟發(fā)學生的學習興趣，鼓勵學生自主學習，主動探索。老師們借助網絡的力量積極搜尋相關教學資源與實驗資源，并通過生活實驗設計，引導學生動手操作，更深刻了解各項原理，達到融會貫通的目的。除了日常幫助學生打好基礎、激發(fā)潛能，在賽前，老師們還帶著學生進行專項訓練，沖擊重難點。

　　Since its establishment, Teensen No.1High School has focused on the long term development of students and the improvement of their academic level in order to help them to be better and faster to adapt to future college life. Teachers in Teensen encourage and patiently guide students to participate in various high level international competitions. All the time, Teensen competition atmosphere is very strong, and we always got brilliant results. Without the professional guidance from Teensen teachers, nothing could happen. Teensen has trained a group of instructors with rich competition experience. During daily teaching process, our teachers try to inspire students’ interest in learning, encourage students to study independently, and actively explore things. By using the Internet to search for relevant teaching and experimental resources, Teensen teachers design life experiments and guide students to operate them. This could help students to deeply understand the principles and bring together all the individual parts of the course. In addition to help students to lay a solid foundation and stimulate their potential, Teensen teachers also take students to carry out special training before the competition to hit the points.

　　此次競賽的內容覆蓋整個A-level課程，很多內容是高一同學還沒有學到的，甚至高二也還沒學的A2內容。再加上疫情原因，只能進行線上培訓，這無疑給競賽增加了難度。正如此次競賽的指導老師魏穎Sharon所說：“這次培訓正好碰上了疫情，但是同學們依然積極參與培訓并完成練習。加上競賽的難度本來就超出了課本難度的范疇，同學們遇到難題，不但沒有退縮，反而還迎難而上。”另一位指導老師王忞Shirley也提到：“網課期間同學們不僅要完成常規(guī)課業(yè)任務、雅思英語學習，還要在周末參加競賽培訓，自覺完成歷年真題的刷題任務，非常的辛苦。

Besides, the difficulty of the competition is far beyond the scope of the textbook, when these students met these problems, they didn’t give up, but grasped the nettle. “Another instructor, Wen Wang (Shirley) also mentioned: “During the online class, our students do not only have to complete routine tasks, IELTS English study, but also to participate on the weekend contest training, consciously complete the task of answering the original questions. This is really a tough mission.

　　李仁杰Leo同學在此次競賽中榮獲全國銅獎，十四人參賽十二人獲獎|天行學子在2020英國物理挑戰(zhàn)賽中斬獲佳績同時他也是“2020英國物理挑戰(zhàn)賽（GCSE年級）”全國銅獎的得主。在此，他想和大家分享下自己的競賽心得?！艾F(xiàn)在回起來我覺得競賽知識其實并沒有太難，剛開始學的時候一定要理解透知識點，其次就是多做題，幫助你掌握消化。再次，一定要定期復習競賽知識，等到考試前一周再復習為時已晚，等到那時你基本不能復習到所有知識點并精通。”

Here, he wants to share his competition experience with us: “When I look back, I don’t think the competition is difficult. At the beginning of preparing the test, you should understand all the points of knowledge deeply, and the second thing is to do more exercises to help you handle them. Third, be sure to review the competition knowledge regularly. And it would be too late to review the points until just one week before the exam. At that moment, you do not have enough time.

　　此次競賽中國賽區(qū)共有來自300多所全國重點中學、國際學校的近1600名同學參賽。天行學子與深國交、領科等名校的學子華山論劍，同臺競技仍斬獲頗豐。短短一個月內，天行學子已經連續(xù)兩次在世界級競賽中獲獎，這不僅體現(xiàn)出學生的潛力和知識儲備，同時也證明天行教師對世界權威競賽的培訓能力以及培養(yǎng)學生申請世界頂尖大學的競爭力，再次印證了天行一中教學水平與師資實力。

　　Nearly 1,600 students from more than 300 National key high schools and international schools participated in the competition in China. Teensen students competed with students from famous schools such as Shen Guo Jiao and Lingke, and we still got brilliant scores. Within a month, Teensen students have won two consecutive awards in world-class competitions. This not only reflects the potential and knowledge reserve of students, but also proves Teensen teachers’ training ability. Once again, it confirmed the teaching level and strong faculty in Teensen.

　　加拿大化學競賽（Canadian Chemistry Contest，簡稱CCC）由加拿大化學學會(Chemical Institute of Canada , 簡稱CIC)主辦，是加拿大學術性權威的化學競賽之一。同時，CCC 也是加拿大化學奧林匹克競賽（Canadian Chemistry Olympiad，簡稱CCO）的全國選拔預選賽，成績優(yōu)秀者可以獲邀進入加拿大化學奧賽全國決賽，從而入選加拿大化學奧賽國家隊參加ICHO（國際化學奧林匹克競賽）。
