很多人對(duì)國際學(xué)校春季班存在誤解，有些人認(rèn)為選擇國際學(xué)校的春季班是為了逃避即將到來的中考，也有人認(rèn)為是因?yàn)殡y以完成傳統(tǒng)教育。但事實(shí)是怎樣的呢？今天這篇“天行學(xué)子系列之十六的作者是來自高一五班（春季班）的王勁舟Stephen，他用自己的親身經(jīng)歷告訴大家為何選擇春季班，在他看來入讀天行春季班是他學(xué)習(xí)生涯中非常正確的選擇。
大家好，我是來自高一五班的王勁舟，今天我要分享的是我入讀春季班的收獲。半年前，我與各位同學(xué)一樣，馬上步入初三下學(xué)期，在此之前，我已經(jīng)萌生了出國留學(xué)的想法。
Hello, everyone. I'm Wang Jinzhou from class 15 of senior high school. Today I want to share the harvest of my spring class. Half a year ago, like all my classmates, I immediately entered the second semester of junior three. Before that, I had the idea of studying abroad.
春季班的學(xué)生都會(huì)提前學(xué)習(xí)IGCSE的課程，為接下來的AS階段的課程夯實(shí)良好的基礎(chǔ)，春季班的學(xué)習(xí)也不會(huì)與即將到來的中考產(chǎn)生沖突和影響，可以說是一個(gè)完美的過渡期。
Students in spring class will learn IGCSE courses in advance, which will lay a solid foundation for the courses in the next as stage, and will not conflict and influence with the upcoming mid-term examination in spring class. It can be said to be a perfect transition period.
去國外留學(xué)最重要的一點(diǎn)便是語言。對(duì)于語言方面，中國人屬于傳統(tǒng)教育，也就是我們口中所說的應(yīng)試教育，很多同學(xué)對(duì)英語只有最基礎(chǔ)的語法概念，并沒有實(shí)際交流的經(jīng)驗(yàn)，而且周圍的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境都是用母語交流，所以很多家長選擇國際學(xué)校都會(huì)有所顧慮，認(rèn)為自己的孩子在國外學(xué)習(xí)與生活中不能準(zhǔn)確表達(dá)自己的意思和所謂的專業(yè)詞匯。但是在天行一中這所國際學(xué)校中，學(xué)生和老師攜手共創(chuàng)了一個(gè)良好的英語交流環(huán)境。
The most important thing to study abroad is language. In terms of language, Chinese belong to the traditional education, which is the exam oriented education as we say. So for many students, there is only the most basic grammar concept for English, and there is no practical exchange experience, and the surrounding learning environment is the mother tongue exchange, so many parents choose international schools I think my children can't express their own meaning and so-called professional vocabulary accurately in their study and life abroad. But in the International School of Teensen, students and teachers have created a good English communication environment together.
以我為例，去年的這個(gè)時(shí)候，我偶然聽說了天行一中有著大多數(shù)國際學(xué)校沒有的春季班。于是，我和我父母商量了下，決定來到這里學(xué)習(xí)?；貙W(xué)校之后，我們班的同學(xué)問我，你是不是因?yàn)椴幌胫锌疾湃ツ抢锏?，是不是覺得自己學(xué)不下去了才去那里的。我總是會(huì)回答他們其實(shí)不是，是因?yàn)槲蚁氤鰢?，想去讀世界前100的名校才選擇了天行一中的春季班。
Take me for example. At this time last year, I overheard that there are spring classes in Teensen that most international schools don't have. So I discussed with my parents and decided to come here to study. When I got back to school, my classmates asked me if you went there because you didn't want to take the middle school entrance examination, or if you thought you couldn't go there. I always answer that they are not. It's because I want to go abroad and study in the top 100 schools in the world that I choose the spring class of Teensen.
放寒假的時(shí)候，我收到了春季班的錄取通知書，我與春季班的緣分就此開始了。在開學(xué)前一天的晚上，我還有點(diǎn)擔(dān)心，擔(dān)心我做的這個(gè)決定是否正確。我還在問我媽，我的英文又不是特別的好，會(huì)不會(huì)很難學(xué)懂？我媽就對(duì)我說：“只要你認(rèn)真學(xué)就不會(huì)難到哪里。”原本我還很擔(dān)心未知的學(xué)業(yè)，但聽完這句話之后，我也給自己鉚足了勁去迎接新的挑戰(zhàn)。
During the winter vacation, I received the admission notice of spring class, and my fate with spring class began. On the night before the start of school, I was a little worried about whether I had made the right decision. I still ask my mother, my English is not very good, will it be difficult to understand? My mother said to me, "as long as you study hard, it won't be difficult." Originally, I was worried about the unknown academic, but after listening to this sentence, I also riveted myself to meet new challenges.
經(jīng)過一個(gè)星期的學(xué)習(xí)之后，我發(fā)現(xiàn)，其實(shí)也沒有我想象的那么難。上課沒學(xué)懂的地方下了課也可以去找老師做免費(fèi)的一對(duì)一office time。我們上課也會(huì)分成小組一起討論自己不懂的問題，一些同學(xué)非常樂意幫助那些基礎(chǔ)比較薄弱的同學(xué)。
After a week of study, I found that it was not as difficult as I thought. After class, you can go to the teacher to do free one-on-one office time. We will also be divided into groups to discuss problems we don't understand in class. Some students can also help those students with weak foundation.
我在天行學(xué)習(xí)的這段時(shí)間以來，我能夠深切地感受到自身英語水平的顯著提高，尤為體現(xiàn)在我的閱讀方面，因?yàn)檫x擇國際學(xué)校所面臨的就是全英文的教材及課后所要完成的作業(yè)。在口語方面，眾所周知，中國式英語已經(jīng)成為了許多海外留學(xué)生的一大詬病，chinglish的表達(dá)會(huì)極大影響學(xué)生在國外的日常學(xué)習(xí)與生活。在我看來對(duì)于學(xué)生來講想要取得自己心目中最理想的成績，需要付出比以往更多的時(shí)間與努力。
Since my time in Teensen study, I have been able to feel the significant improvement of my English level, especially in my reading, because the choice of international schools is faced with all English textbooks and assignments to be completed after class. As we all know, Chinglish has become a major criticism of many overseas students. The expression of Chinglish will greatly affect students' daily study and life abroad. In my opinion, students need to pay more time and effort to achieve the most ideal results than before.
總的來說，經(jīng)過在春季班這半年的磨合中我已經(jīng)完全適應(yīng)了國際教育的節(jié)奏，同理，我也相信經(jīng)過天行未來三年對(duì)我的歷練之后，我能更好的適應(yīng)國外全英文的學(xué)習(xí)與生活環(huán)境。在這里的學(xué)習(xí)可以讓我有更多的時(shí)間去選擇自己喜歡的課程還有社團(tuán)活動(dòng)，這樣也可以豐富我們的課余生活，提高我們的生活修養(yǎng)，以及培養(yǎng)更加自律的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣。我覺得選擇天行一中的春季班使我收獲頗豐，而且我認(rèn)為這是我學(xué)習(xí)生涯中非常正確的一次選擇。
In general, I have fully adapted to the international education in Teensen after half a year's running in of spring class. Similarly, I also believe that I can better adapt to the learning and living environment of English in foreign countries after three years of experience of Teensen. The study here can give me more time to choose my favorite courses and community activities, which can also enrich our after-school life, improve our life accomplishment, and cultivate more self-discipline learning habits. I think choosing the spring class of Teensen makes me gain a lot, and I think it is a very correct choice in my study career.
